In the southwest region, this contest was judged largely successful by many participants.  The
September weekend was held in commemoration of our friend and colleague Dave WA6CGR who many of us
worked during the August weekend but who became SK 9/12/26.  Best DX on 10 GHz (663 km) and 24 GHz
(213 km) was followed in less than half an hour by a wind gust that damaged both rigs.  I have work
to do.

Lots of fun operating from Mt Diablo in California with a few new microwave operators in August, and
then working them in September while roving, some on 10 and 24 GHz!

Was only available for Saturday in August, but still had a great time.
