Comments:
I had a great time although not as many participants as other contests. Lightning storms predicted for my area but never materialized. No one was using RTTY mode prior to the contest start, so had to workout set up issues on the first several contacts. Was mainly a chaser since non-rookies couldn't contact each other. I added "IM ROOKIE" to my CQ and became a runner for the last two hours. Band conditions up and down and almost no PSKREPORTER monitors made the contest challenging. Called CQ on 80m,15m,10m for 15 minutes each with no contacts. Most QSOs on 20m and finally 40m in the last hour. All contestants were very accommodating and some sent encouragement messages to close. Took photos of all my setup screens so I'll be ready to go next year.
