Thanks for your patience. This was my last RR as a rookie, they were fun! I hope to work you in many
contests to come. Maybe without all the fills next time. I'm working on that. |

I threw out two qso's where I failed to get a year for first license. Otherwise, had 49 non rookie

I really enjoyed this event using my El-Key given to me by Brian, K3KO. My last qso was a
highlight, while running on 7.051, getting a call from 9A206W. Antenna was a homebrew 12g stranded
wire dipole with 70 watts. It was my final contact of the day and brought a big smile, and sense of
satifaction. Thank you to all who worked me and happy hollidays. 73/Jim/K4AOA |

Thanks to everyone for the QSOs, especially the non-rookies that took the time to work us rookies.
I was plagued with bad QRN on 20 meters, so sorry to all the stations I couldn't pull out of the
noise. Not sure if conditions were just noisy or if my neighbor got a new plasma TV, hi hi. Ran
100 watts into a G5RV @ 35 feet. Happy holidays! |

This was my first AARL contest. I stayed on 40 meters QRP and had a ball. I was surprised at the
number of contacts with 5 watts. |

GREAT FUN, THOUGH MY TIME WAS LIMITED AND 20 METERS AND ABOVE WERE UN USABLE DUE TO LOCAL LINE
NOISE. I HOPE TO PUT IN A FULL SIX HOUR EFFORT NEXT YEAR IN SUPPORT OF THE ROOKIES. THANKS FOR ALL
WHO CALLED. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! 73, BILL, KC4D |

I found the RR to be fun, but I had a lot of difficulty copying call signs at times. Many apologies
to any calling stations whose call sign I just couldn't copy. 73 KK4CIS |

minutes. |

My first ARRL contest! Been licensed since 1991 (actually had my first license in 1959), but have
only lately begun interest in contesting. Band conditions here weren't great. Only made contact on
40 and 20 meters. Enjoyable! |
