I made 1 contact, but admittedly, I only listened to the last 2-3 hours. Back in 1983 Novice Roundup was a big event, where I discovered my love of CW. I hope more people will consider giving CW a try because it's such a unique and FUN way to communicate! For me getting into contests (even if the speed was too fast) was the key to getting better at it. The set exchange actually makes it a bit easier.

I really appreciate that this style of contest exists! There is a lot less pressure copying CW when I know that the other person is also relatively new to amateur radio.

Band conditions were challenging, but it was great making a few casual QSOs. I'm very impressed with the level of code I'm hearing from my fellow Rookies. Next year, I'll be calling CQ.

Big thanks to all my contacts & 73!

Was hoping there would be more stations to work. Seemed like this contest isn't very well known...quite a few stations were unaware of the exchange.
